Dear Parent
Your child or the student in your class who cannot read, write, make meaningful sentences, connect ideas nor copy notes accurately is not necessarily a dummy.
It could be a learning deficit known as dyslexia, that makes reading and language related tasks hard.
It's a deficit that'd get better with therapy, not necessarily caning, verbal, social abuses or depriving the child of other things in a bid to get him/her to compulsorily learn.
Be patient with the child.
Read aloud to them.
Get your child compulsorily enrolled into individualized educational intervention, counseling psychology plus classroom learning for socialization. The truth is, they can't learn along with other students in a normal classroom setting.
And hey, it doesn't have anything to do with what your child becomes in life. Dyslexia doesn't tamper with a child's intelligence.
It's a learning disability, not a death sentence.
Your childwill be fine. ❤️
